Understand how your secure information is isolated and protected on LegacyOS.
1. Zero-Knowledge Architecture
LegacyOS runs on a zero-knowledge protocol. Sensitive details inside your vaults (including your asset records, diary logs, files, and bank locker credentials) are encrypted client-side inside your browser or mobile application using your personal vault PIN and keys prior to database storage. We do not have access to your decryption keys, and we can never view your stored records.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect structural metadata required to operate the service. This includes:
- Account email address and profile name.
- Nominee email addresses and registered access codes.
- Activity status records (presence checking signals).
- Structural system telemetry (non-identifying device logs).
3. How Data is Shared (Nominee Transition)
Your vault items are shared exclusively with your designated nominees. This process is strictly governed by your configured presence checks. Under no other circumstances do we disclose, rent, or sell your personal metadata to external third-party companies or advertising agencies.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
You hold full command over your data vault. You can delete your account or individual asset records at any time. When an account deletion is requested, all database rows, encrypted payload files, logs, and associated nominee access indexes are immediately and permanently purged from our active systems.
