Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your LegacyOS account via the mobile app or directly from your web account settings. All your data will be permanently removed within 24–48 hours.

Via Mobile App

Delete your account instantly from the LegacyOS mobile app:

  1. 1Open the LegacyOS app on your mobile device.
  2. 2Log in to your account.
  3. 3Tap the Settings icon in the navigation bar.
  4. 4Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
  5. 5Read the confirmation message and tap Yes, Delete My Account.
Note: Your account will be scheduled for deletion. If you log back in within 24–48 hours, your account will be automatically restored.

Via Web (Settings)

You can also request account deletion directly from your web account:

  1. 1Log in to your LegacyOS account on the web.
  2. 2Go to Settings from the sidebar.
  3. 3Select the Account tab.
  4. 4Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
  5. 5Click Delete Account and confirm.
Note: Your account will be scheduled for deletion within 24–48 hours. You will be logged out immediately. If you log back in before deletion is processed, your account will be automatically restored.
Go to Settings → Delete Account

What Gets Deleted

Once your account is permanently deleted, the following data is removed from our systems:

Profile & Authentication

Your email, name, password hash, and OAuth tokens.

Encrypted Vault Data

All assets, secure messages, diaries, and credentials.

Nominee Connections

All nominee relations and transition rules.

Uploaded Files

Documents, photos, and media stored in your vault.

Backups

Residual encrypted data cleared within our 30-day backup cycle.
